It, however, does not form complexes with most of the metals used in environmental and biological studies. It easily dissolves in water and has minimum lipid solubility, making it impermeable to membranes. Moreover, MES buffer induces autophagy in cells. We also produce this widely used buffer in various pH formats.

Features

Cell Culture Suited as well as molecular biology suited.

Provides a buffer solution to maintain a medium in physiological pH (7.2-7.6).

PurMa Biologics manufactures this buffer free of Mg2+ and Ca 2+

Free of RNAse /DNase

Free of Proteases. It is rigorously tested for contaminating nonspecific endonuclease, exonuclease, and RNase activity.

We rigorously test for contamination of endotoxin and mycoplasma.

PurMa Biologics manufactures this buffer in several pH formats.

We sterilize it by 0.2µm filter.

PurMa Biologics packs all the buffers under N2, so the pH does not change over time before opening the bottle.

Application

It plays a significant part in the preparation of Murashige and Skoog growth medium for the growth of cannabis in cell culture. In molecular biology, MES is commonly used in the conjugation of hybridization probes to beads before PCR amplification.

PurMa Biologics Manufactures Several Grades of Buffers

Regular Grade Buffer

PurMa Biologics manufactures Regular grade of buffer by using: PurMa™ Cell Culture Suited Water (Cat# P3W110101)

We sterilize the buffers by autoclaving the solution.
