  1. Organic and non-organic compounds.
  2. Dissolved and particulate matters with any sizes.
  3. Volatile and non-volatile
  4. Reactive, and inert
  5. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic
  6. Dissolved gases.

Special Features

  • Purified by Deionization (DI) followed by Reverse Osmosis process (18.2 ΩM/cm2).
  • Additionally, the trace of heavy metals including Ca+2 and Mg +2 has been depleted using Ion exchange chromatography resins.
  • Moreover, it is Double – Distilled.
  • Sterilized by 0.1 µm filters.
  • And lastly, Packed under N2

Important Note: Do NOT expose this water to open air for a long time as it absorbs traces of various ions including bicarbonate.

PurMa™ Non DEPC Treated Ultra-Pure Nuclease Free Water is suitable for high accuracy molecular biology studies, as well as analytical analysis applications such as:

  1. It is definitely the best choice for mRNA & Total RNA Isolation.
  2. Mass spectrometry certainly performs the best with this quality of water.
  3. Electrophoresis, cloning, PCR, RNA, and DNA isolation.
  4. Especially, chromosome analysis or karyotyping as they need high quality water.
  5. Also, northern and southern blotting.
  6. Evaluated for proteases.
  7. Evaluated for phosphatases.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the water grades?

Cell culture suited water is purified and tested for endotoxin and cell culture performance. Molecular biology grade water is targeted at nuclease removal. DEPC treated water is specifically treated to inactivate RNases. Choosing on price rather than grade is a common cause of unexplained assay failure.

What is the difference between DEPC treated and non-DEPC water?

DEPC treatment inactivates RNases and is used for RNA work. Non-DEPC nuclease free water reaches the same nuclease free standard without DEPC, which matters because residual DEPC can carboxymethylate RNA and interfere with some downstream enzymatic steps.

Is Ultra-Pure Nuclease Free Water (Non-DEPC Treated) endotoxin tested?

Yes. Each lot is tested and the result is reported on the Certificate of Analysis. Endotoxin matters even in water, because it survives autoclaving and carries straight through into your culture.

How should it be stored?

Store sealed at room temperature unless the label states otherwise, and avoid repeated opening. Once opened, the practical risk is airborne contamination rather than chemical change, so decant rather than pipetting repeatedly from the stock bottle.

Can I autoclave it myself instead?

Autoclaving sterilises but does not remove endotoxin, nucleases or ionic contaminants, and it will not turn general purpose water into cell culture grade. For culture and molecular work the starting purity is what matters.
