Dialyzed Fetal Horse Serum (DFHS)
Dialyzed Fetal Horse Serum (DFHS) provides more consistency among the cell culture experiments, especially the studies requiring a more defined environment of small molecules. The dialysis process eliminates/reduces the concentration of low molecular weight components, those include; antibiotics, nucleotide, amino acids, hormones, salts, as well as various small proteins in serum.
Description
Dialyzes Fetal Horse Serum (DFHS)
Background
Animal serum contains many undefined components. PurMa™ Dialyzed Fetal Horse Serum (DFHS) provides more consistency among the cell culture experiments. Especially the studies requiring a more defined environment of small molecules. The dialysis process eliminates/ reduces the concentration of low molecular weight components. That includes antibiotics, nucleotide, amino acids, hormones, salts, and various small proteins in serum.
PurMaTM Dialyzes- FHS is Free of Tetracycline and other Antibiotics.
PurMa™ Dialyzes FHS (DFHS)
- DFHS has been dialyzes using the 3500 Dalton (3.5 kDa) dialysis tube. The dialysis is carried out against 10X 10-liter PBS (pH 7.4). at the end, the dialyzed FHS is filtered three times (0.1 µM filters).
- PurMa™ Dialyzed Fetal Horse Serum (DFHS) is USA origin.
- The parent DFHShas been gamma irradiated.
- Following the dialysis, the FHS goes through heat inactivation process.
- Following the dialysis, the FHS goes through vigorous analysis and will get a certificate of analysis.
- Moreover, PurMa™ Dialyzed Fetal Horse Serum (DFHS) is free of Mycoplasma, steroids and hormones and other pathogens.
- PurMa™ DFHS is free of endotoxin and also contains Acceptable level of hemoglobin (20 mg/Dl).
- Due to the loss of small growth factors and other essential elements below the size of 3.5 kDa we recommend using 15-20% DFHS in your media to make sure of cultured cell well beings.
